What is ECU Connect?

ECU Connect is East Carolina University’s student success platform, designed to strengthen communication and collaboration between students, instructors, and support services. Through ECU CONNECT, instructors can raise flags, kudos, and referrals that provide timely feedback — whether it’s recognizing achievements, addressing concerns, or connecting students to valuable campus resources.

Each notification is tailored with dynamic fields to ensure messages feel personal and relevant, and they are sent directly from the instructor’s ECU email address. Replies come back to the instructor, reinforcing the instructor’s role as the student’s primary resource. At the same time, advisors and the student success team are notified, creating a coordinated network of support.

By making student progress visible and ensuring no student falls through the cracks, ECU CONNECT empowers the entire campus community to work together in fostering engagement, accountability, and long-term academic success.
